  • We made a LOT of changes to many things in the background. This should increase gameplay performance across the board. It also has some cool side effects like Tychus and Messiah Ultimates properly benefiting from all damage sources. Everything else should stay exactly the same. CP2 Patch Notes 14.0 – Season 2 Nemesis Release

    • Season 2 - Nemesis Release
    • Nemesis is the new seasonal gamemode, currently containing 5 episodes, each introducing new mechanics and enemies.
    • More episodes will be released during the season. We plan to have 9 regular episodes out at some point.
    • New episodes can be unlocked by completing previous episodes. Group play requires all players to beat all previous episodes.

    • Cosmetics and Pets:
    • Your computer remembers which pet you had active and will try to automatically select it at game start. That feature has been in the game for a while but now it is actually working (hopefully).
    • Pet menu can be opened by pressing "P" on your keyboard.

    • Aquilla:
    • Increased all bonuses of Second Wind Mastery.
    • Dune:
    • Path of the Guardian block value improved to 135 (old: 150).
    • Base armor increased to 17 (old: 6).
    • Nova:
    • Emergency Kit Mastery grants twice as much shield armor.
    • Predator:
    • Block Mastery block value improved to 135 (old: 150).
    • Base armor increased to 18 (old: 5).
    • Miscellaneous:
    • Fixed some more pathing problems around the Leviathan base.
    • Fixed some minor tooltip errors who nobody read anyway.

    • Archaeology Perk causes Artifact pickups to spawn a Power Cube in the CP main base in addition to all previous effects.
    • Helldivers respawn interval reduced to 160 seconds (old: 180 seconds).
    • Onslaught Perk only disables Iron Man Mastery, but its bonuses have been reduced to 20% (old: 25%).
    • Toxic Waste Perk no longer increases Nuke damage.

  • The Protoss heroes have overcome their fear of the dark and are prepared to fight alongside you on Hellwalker with the help of mortgages. Factoring in Dune this increases the number of possible group compositions in 4 player Hellwalker tenfold.
  • Dune will now appear when selecting "Random" or "Select ingame".
  • The new boss health bars can now show the duration of select debuffs, e.g. Aquila's Void Tear.
  • Max shields should show on players' status frames again.

  • New Hero: Dune! Dune is a Protoss melee tank hero with high mobility and area damage.   • New Pyro Mastery: Grand Slam Mastery (replaces Big Game Hunter).
  • New Messiah Mastery: Oblationist Oath Mastery (replaces Forbidden Palace).
  • Fury's ultimate Mastery has been reworked and is now called Leyden Toroid Mastery.
  • Enslave Mastery(Messiah): no longer requires level 10 to unlock and energy cost reduced to 50 (old: 100).
  • Helldivers have received an overhauled unit ai which should make them much more responsive to your commands and clump up less.
