- Season 2 – Nemesis Release
- Nemesis is the new seasonal gamemode, currently containing 5 episodes, each introducing new mechanics and enemies.
- More episodes will be released during the season. We plan to have 9 regular episodes out at some point.
- New episodes can be unlocked by completing previous episodes. Group play requires all players to beat all previous episodes.
- You can earn Season 2 exclusive pets by beating episode 9 or holding first place in any Oldschool/Hellwalker category.

- Cosmetics:
- The Oldschool Goliath pet from the Intermission 1 challenge is now in the map.
- A player leaving the game prematurely or resuming from replay in any form will cause the online leaderboards to reject the replay.
- Several noteworthy individuals have been awarded with the Purple Zergling pet for their various contributions as test players.
- The “P” hotkey for opening the pet menu has been temporarily disabled to prevent problems with some keyboard layouts.
- Atlas:
- Fixed Deploy RRTS and Fortify hotkeys not being rebindable.
- Fixed some of Atlas’ buffs not applying correctly to other abilities (I hope).
- Dune:
- Has to spend a regular Talent point to learn Adaptive Armor but it is guaranteed to appear within the first five Talents.
- Messiah:
- Forbidden Palace Mastery has returned in a slightly adjusted form and is once again available (replaces Allrounder Mastery).
- Enslave Mastery costs life instead of energy and benefits from Leadership Perk, but is limited to 3 targets.
- I made lots of small tweaks and buffs across all stats, Talents, and Masteries in order to shift power from Enslave to the old core of Messiah gameplay.
- Damnation – Invulnerability also makes your hero unstoppable and clears enemy toxic debuff from your hero.
- Nova:
- Activating Displace clears any toxic aura debuffs on your hero.
- Predator:
- Has to spend a regular Talent point to learn Adaptive Armor but it is guaranteed to appear within the first five Talents.
- Tassadar:
- Overload no longer deals bonus damage vs light nor psionic, but base damage increased from 30 to 45 and does ignore armor.
- Miscellaneous:
- The guaranteed starting Talents for all heroes have been reworked. No more remake festivals.
- Nemesis Module Talent energy regen and shield regen bonuses increased.
- Brain Bugs and Odins can now go through buildings and scale small cliffs.
- Fixed several nooks and crannies where heroes could be stuck sometimes.
- Fixed and improved several tooltips.

Is Nemesis 2 able to be solo’ed? I don’t play with other people and playing with Predator was fine until the 2hr mark were the Onslaught begins. I could only withstand getting hit by bosses for a few seconds with all masteries and talents. Will there be a solo version?
