- Intermission 1:
- Cosmetic Pets are now live and you can access the all-new pet menu by typing -pet ingame. The default setting is to summon a random pet from all the available pets you have unlocked. Enjoy your new companions!
- After looking through the eligible replays for the Season 1 pet rewards, we found that there were way too many players. In order to keep the rewards more presitgious and exclusive, we decided to implement the following last minute rule changes:
- Angelic Shroomba: now requires you to have played a 225+ (up from 200+)
- Empowered Shroomba: now requires you to have played a 200+ (up from 125+)
- Creeping Black Shroomba: now only counts replays which had a duration of 1h or faster (old: up to 2 hours).
- Balancing:
- Toxic Waste no longer regenerates life nor increases nuke damage. It is also no longer possible to upgrade its damage via Power Cube pickups.
- Onslaught Perk has been reworked and no longer locks you out of picking certain defensive Masteries. Increases all damage dealt by 30%, shields by 30%, but decreases movement speed by 30%.
- After looking at the most picked Perks on the website, we found that Archaeology Perk was never used and so it has been temporarily burried until we know what to do with it.
- Lightweight Equipment Mastery (all heroes) now costs 25000 minerals to research over 25 steps (old 10000 over 20 steps).
- Thump now has a 10 second cooldown.
- Nova’s permanent invisibility has moved back to her ultimate Mastery again.
- New Messiah Mastery: Slavedriver (replaces Enslave).
- Enslave is now a baseline ability but Enslaved units have reduced movement speed and die after 15 seconds.
- Miscellaneous:
- Renamed some of the Odins in order to comply with Blizzard’s new safe naming conventions. We tried to stay as close to the originals as possible for them to be still recognisable, e.g. Lt Blobber is now Lt Bloober.
- In order to combat ever increasing server operating costs, Thenarden has added a donation button on the leaderboards. We thank you all for your generous donations, no matter how high the amount. Every little donation counts and helps us tremendously.
- We are currently in the process of adding new pets for people who donate larger amounts, e.g. over 100+ USD.
- Fixed a bug where Tankz was not able to resume from replay.
