CP2 Patch Notes 11.3 – Preseason Launch

  • Preseason has started. All uploads starting with this patch will be added to fresh leaderboards called Preseason. Previous seasons are still available on the website. Nuke highscore are now also counted per season. Your winrating and rank will NOT be reset and carry over.
  • New Perk: Hell Divers – Support Drop Talents are removed from your Talent queue reducing the time until you max out.
  • You will be supported by an insanely strong squad of terran units which rival all existing minions in the game in raw firepower.
  • Toxic Waste Perk has seen a rework granting a much more powerful Irradiate Aura which can be upgraded amongst other bonuses.
  • New Mastery for Messiah: Enslave (replaces Big Game Hunter).
  • New Mastery for Swann: Guerrilla Protocol (replaces Big Game Hunter).
  • New Mastery for Aquila: Interwoven Reality (replaces Big Game Hunter).
  • New Talent (all heroes): Epi Center.
  • Energy regeneration has been reworked across the board:
  • Aftermath and Nemesis Modules have been nerfed significantly for all heroes.
  • Energy Mastery provides much more energy regeneration for all heroes.
  • Base energy regen slightly increased for all heroes.
  • Super Charge Talent has been removed and all bonuses woven into baseline hero stats.
  • You are now guaranteed to see an energy regen related Talent every x levels.
  • The main goal of these changes is to reduce the random factor that comes with available energy at all points in the game.
  • Numerous improvements to when and how some important Talents appear for you. This together with the energy regen and world event changes should make speedruns more comparable and eliminate the need to restart runs if you got extremely unlucky.
  • Enemy units and structures now all have only one attribute classification streamlining damage output.
  • Inspire has been reworked and is now a war3-style aura. Everything to do with Inspire has been adjusted accordingly.
  • Stimpack has now increased duration and effects but also longer cooldown. It also requires a percentage of your life to activate. All
    Talents and Masteries interacting with Stimpack have had their numbers adjusted.
  • Learn Inspire Aura is now a base tier Talent for all heroes except Fury.
  • Irradiate is no longer a Talent and instead unlocked via the reworked Toxic Waste Perk.
  • Massive performance improvements all over the map as well as greatly reduced loading times.
  • Tweaks to existing friendly and enemy units have been made as well as revamped and new enemies.
  • Several core game mechanics, such as bleeding structures off creep, difficulty scaling or spine crawler drops have received adjustments. All of these adjustments improve overall game performance and increase gameplay diversity.
  • Lots of improvements and tweaks to the user interface including: the energy bar will now show an estimate of your hero’s energy regen.
  • Aquila’s Blades of Aiur will now charge into areas inside the fog of war and up cliffs where you don’t have vision.
  • Mechanized Squad Support Talent now occurs slightly less frequently and spawns slightly less units.
  • Nova’s Combat Drones have increased movement speed and acceleration.
  • Emergency Kit Mastery(Nova): increased bonus to shields by 33%.
  • Mental mode has been made slightly harder.
  • Hellwalker and Oldschool now have fixed world events. The ordering of these events will probably change with each season.
  • The fixed world events for Mental and Inferno have changed and will maybe change with each season as well.
  • Bruce and Harvey (odin twins world event) are now much sturdier.
  • Personal Odins from the 3000 kill streak bonus now have increased armor and can block heavy hits.
  • Protoss Fleets from 4000 killstreak and the world event are now smaller in numbers and visual size but have increased stats.
  • The Mutalisk Swarm world event now spawns fewer units and lasts much shorter.
  • The bonus for not dying for 60 minutes is now a free Mastery point.
  • Hybrid General boss fight: add waves spawn roughly 10% faster.
  • CP Base is now even quicker at building structures and Missile Turrets and Bunkers have more life.
  • Damage bonus to Eternal Flames from acquiring Masteries doubled.
  • Mothership Mastery(Aquila): attack speed reduced.
  • Pyro, Predator, Messiah and Tassadar had some of their base stats, damage values and ability values adjusted slightly.
  • The battlecruiser from Air Support Perk deals slightly more damage.
  • Some of the power from Massive Blast and Radical Restructuring have been shifted into base nukes.
  • Forbidden Palace Mastery: Void Rays deal less damage but have increased movement speed and vision range.
