CP2 Patch Notes 15.0 – Intermission 2

  • Nemesis:
  • This patch marks the official end of Season 2 – Nemesis. We are now in Intermission 2, a time between Season 2 and 3 where we will explore strange new modes, seek out new Perks and new Masteries, to boldly lag where no one has crashed before.
  • Balancing and Gameplay:
  • Season 2 pet rewards are now in the game. Enjoy. If you think there has been a mistake, please contact us via Discord.
  • Nemesis game mode is no longer availabe.
  • Hard, Inferno, Oldschool, and Hellwalker are mostly unchanged YET, but there are bigger changes planned which we will explore together during Intermission 2.
  • Destroying the “Bruta Hatch” longer activates the major Brutalisk boss fight. You get a mini encounter instead based on difficulty.
  • Players have access to 4 Perks on all difficulties as a baseline. Yes, that includes Hard, Inferno, and Oldschool.
  • A 4th Golden BC will appear in 3 player games when everybody has managed to summon theirs.
  • Onslaught Perk no longer increases shield maximum.
  • Radical Restructuring Talent bonus damage vs buildings halved.
  • Weapons of Mass Destruction Talent mineral cost reduction nerfed from 150 to 50.
  • Impenetrable Armor Talent provides less armor to Anvil, Predator, and Atlas.
  • World Event orderings for Inferno and Oldschool are now random in every game.
  • Life, Shields, and damage increases per hero level have been adjusted for all heroes.
  • If you have Archaeology and Guidance Perks, picking up a Protoss artefact will apply one Guidance stack.
  • Anvil:
  • Base attack-speed in Tank mode and all effects increasing attack-speed in Tank mode increased by 11%.
  • Jötunnbane Corps Mastery costs 40000 minerals to unlock and no Mastery point. Every time Anvil learns a new Mastery, the cost is halved.
  • Jötunnbane Corps use a different voiceline when under fire to distinguish them from your hero.
  • Aquila:
  • Void Tear base cooldown is now 30 seconds (old: 28).
  • ELITE: ranged damage bonus of Battle Flow slightly reduced.
  • Messiah:
  • Base attack damage +10. Nani?!
  • Learning Enslave Mastery reduces attack damage by 20. Kanashi :[
  • Oblationist Oath Mastery: the movement speed and damage buffs can be extended by sacrificing more DTs while they are still active.
  • Nova:
  • Drone War Talent attack speed multiplier reduced from 70% to 50%.
  • Predator:
  • ELITE: reduces the energy cost of Demo, Phalanx, and Corona by 50% (old: Demo and Phalanx by 25%).
  • Pyro:
  • Liberators no longer despawn when Pyro dies.
  • ELITE: Liberators use Firestarter every 4 seconds (old: 3.5 seconds).
  • Swann:
  • The placement range of all turrets is slightly longer.
  • Remote Construction Talent placement range bonus is slightly shorter.
  • Ranged damage bonus of Dismantle - Hellfire increased from +275% to +350%.
  • Weapons Research Mastery: all effects reduced by 10%.
  • Gatling Turret base damage increased from 19 to 23.
  • Frontal Assault Mastery: shield max and shield armor bonus to Swann himself increased by 35%.
  • Tassadar:
  • Protective Sensei Mastery activates every 20 minutes (old: 15) and grants .25 energy regen (down from .75).
  • Power Overwhelming Mastery damage components have been reduced by roughly half.
  • Tychus:
  • Base movement speed and base auto-attack damage increased.
  • Miscellaneous:
  • Buildings that are part of the Ultralisk waves trigger will spawn an invulnerable Pygalisk that moves towards the portal's spawn location.
  • Your pets' sizes scale with your player rank. They start out slightly smaller than what you are used to but can grow larger than their
    original size once you reach high triple-digit ranks.
  • The World Events for Hellwalker have changed.
  • CP base upgrades its nukes 25% faster. This is a small buff to Doomsday Perk and Dune's Exterminatus Mastery.
  • Omegalisk Bodyguard World Event creates a much fiercer opponent. OMEGALISKE FAIGHTIN!
  • Hydralisks went to the gym and trained hard to be a more recognizable enemy.
  • Nemesis (the invisible flying things) decided to treat all enemies equally and lost their bonus damage vs heroic.
  • Fixed a bug where you couldn't get Atlas when selecting "Random Hero" in lobby.
  • Reworked the tooltips of all Perks to make the more streamlined and explain synergies better.
  • Fixed several spots where players or Odins could get stuck.

  1. So? where are the changes, new perks etc? nothing has changed…..Season 3 will be probably in the next 5 years….
    Please guys, give us something new or give us back season 2

  2. not so soon(tm) sorry
    I am going through worse shit IRL then when my mother died. there is just no energy left to put into gaming or modding. I want to and I will continue working on CP. However, Testbeta has supported me with making a first intermission patch with some cool fixes and a little content which I hope to release in soon(tm).
