CP2 Patch Notes 15.5

  • We made a LOT of changes to many things in the background. This should increase gameplay performance across the board. It also has some cool side effects like Tychus and Messiah Ultimates properly benefiting from all damage sources. Everything else should stay exactly the same. If you notice some weapon, Talent, or Mastery behaving strangely, please report it on Discord or Reddit immediately. Thank you.

    Balancing and Gameplay:

  • Guidance + Archeolgoy perk combo fixed has been fixed. This is one patch short of becoming a meme…
  • Odins from 3000 killstreak have increased armor and will repair themselves quickly after not taking damage for a while. We have plans to rework the 3k Odins properly but our ideas are not yet good enough to squeeze them into this update.
  • Fixed a bug where your stats were lower than intended if you were AFK at the start of a game.
  • SCV should no longer get stuck at the new Planetary on the western wall because I replaced it with a bunker #fixed
  • The ghostly Missile Turret shooting from below the ground in the CP base has been moved to another place where it can rest in peace.

    Anvil:

  • ELITE reworked: you gain a secondary attack that launches miniature nukes for free that deal no friendly fire.
  • New Mastery: Nuke Freedom (replaces Allrounder mastery). If you nuke something or use your new ELITE, nukes for everybody become cheaper.
  •  

    Atlas:

  • Deploy RRTS is now transient, i.e. Atlas doesn’t interrupt his current command or attack when casting RRTS.
  • Supply Drop Mastery: no longer gives a 60 second notification, but continues to Fortify random Planetaries once all high priority targets have been buffed.
  • Wave Breaker Mastery: copied weapons on PFs have increased range to compensate for the PFs´ large radii. This is a buff to the Mastery and should put the score gain to roughly where it feels balanced.

    Messiah:

  • Ordo Draconis Mastery properly benefits from all damage increasing effects.
  •  

    Nova:

  • Fixed a bug where Nova could kill other players.
  •  

    Tychus:

  • Livin’ on the Edge Mastery triggers earlier, grants more damage, lasts longer, and triples life regeneration while its effect is active.
  • Psionic Warrior Mastery no longer reduces energy regeneration and properly benefits from all damage-increasing effects.
  •  

    Swann:

  • New Mastery: Cluster Mastery (replaces Allrounder Mastery). Turrets together stronk!
